New figures release on 17th July 2014 by Eurostat, the European Union Statistics Office have shown that Spain currently displays the biggest increase in production in construction in EuropeWith a year on year increase across the Euro area in May 2014 of 3.5% overall, Spain is continuing the positive trend that started in March 2014 and has registered an increase of 42.4% in production in construction against May 2013 figures.
  The figures reported by Eurostat over the last few months have shown that Spain is well above the average growth rate for the sector in Europe and once again is looking buoyant despite current economic conditions. Following Spain, other countries with increases were Slovenia (+41.8%), Hungary (+28.7%) and Poland (+6.8%)....
